It seems like a trivial question, but it doesn't seem clear to me when Scriabin was born; are there "reliable" sources? It seems that the dates going around are January 6th, 7th, or 10th, any ideas?

Maybe this is the catch (excuse the wiki)

Speaking of Christmas:

December 25 (for Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox following the Gregorian calendar); January 6 (for Eastern Orthodox churches); January 7 (for Orthodox following the Julian calendar); January 19 for the Armenian Apostolic Church of Jerusalem following the Julian calendar.

I am curious about January 10

What is certain is the birth on Christmas Day (Russian).

Skryabin always boasted, within the scope of his messianic vision, of being born on that day.

The sources speak, in an almost concordant manner, of January 6th.

Keep in mind that the Soviet regime adopted the Gregorian calendar from 1917 to 1949 and then returned to the Julian one.

Probably in these changes, the residual fractions of days were taken (or not taken) into account, creating further confusion.
