An (ig)nobel prize...

Why rock brings out the animal in us

A little gem

Why can a musical track literally give you chills down your spine? Because it contains dissonances that evoke fear, specifically dissonances that share various characteristics with the vocalizations of animals in distress. The reaction, however, depends on the context in which the music is heard.

Groundless research, at least if placed on the level of science. This is ecological psychology, which we could define as experimental psychology... but it's a long discourse

For me, we always remain on the subjective side; I will be nonconformist and boring, but this genre (except for some pieces) does not give me the same

sensations and emotions as other genres; when I played basketball, I listened to Passacaglia according to Giovanni di Bach, and certainly not hip hop tracks

like they do in America at the All-Star Game, that is why I say it is subjective (for me).
