With reference to the Composition Workshops initiative: choose the piece, I am announcing in advance the workshop dedicated to Choral Music. Since the forum cannot guarantee a performance for this workshop, we will draw inspiration from one of the various competitions that has a deadline at the end of September.

Clearly, this initiative can also be read as a "provocation," especially when reading the following two sentences in sequence (in bold in the bad):
"The planned personnel is for a 4-part mixed choir with organ accompaniment and the maximum duration shall not exceed 7 minutes. In view of use also in parish communities, it is requested to attach to the composition its monodic elaboration with organ accompaniment performable by the assembly of the faithful.
The contestants, while free to choose the style and language most suitable to them, must take into due consideration the fact that the compositions will be evaluated both for their intrinsic artistic value and for their functionality and effectiveness in the sacred context to which they are primarily intended."
"For the competition, composers of any nationality are admitted, without age limits, in possession of one or more of the following requirements: - First-level academic diploma, or degree diploma, or Conservatory diploma under the previous system in Composition. - Regular enrollment in a first or second-level Composition course at an Italian musical Conservatory or equivalent institute; - Students in possession of another equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable may also be admitted. Each Composer may participate in the competition with a single entirely original score that has never been previously published, performed, or recorded."
Now, I do not know from a legal point of view if posting the score or an audio rendition here on the forum could be considered "publication"...

In fact, it makes sense; the laboratory will materialize at the end of September... precisely after the closing of the competition. That way, one is free to do whatever they want with their own music... all the more so if (coincidentally) they did not win the competition
