I announce with true pleasure (I won't deny it) that my site has been linked on the Mamma Beethoven Haus website in Bonn. The link is here: http://www.beethoven...prache=englisch
As the presentation states, the forum is also mentioned, and this is quite right, as this is a place where active Art is made. I am satisfied, for myself and for all of you!
See you soon with more good (but also great) news!!!
Yes, yes, my short-term plans are to continue correcting the numerous material errors affecting the site (spelling and faulty links) and to finish - once and for all - Seyfried's Treatise on Harmony and Composition. In the long term, to eliminate the "synthetic" mp3s to replace them with real ones. (a long operation also because organic ones are always different, and it is not easy to find the right formation). To complete the musical work, it will take about 4 more years to digitize all the "Copyright free" books and scores, and to make my material available to everyone in about eight years..... let's say 10-12 years in total? (47+12=61) The average life expectancy of a Caucasian Italian male is 79 and 3 months....... Well, then I should be able to make it!

Great Armando, I went to http://www.lvbeethoven.it/ and this forum is linked correctly, but not directly to the group dedicated to Beethoven, but rather to the level directly above it dedicated to groups in general. Not that it's a problem... but at least now you know

What can I say, the premises are there... the time is too. Good luck so that you can continue through the entire journey and bring the mission to completion!

Dear Armando, I read a completely different state of mind compared to what prompted me to come out of anonymity when I registered on your forum a few months ago.
I am happy that the whole operation has been successful and that we can continue to have a forum dedicated to Beethoven; this is also thanks to the sensitivity shown by you and TheSimon.
Frank, I can never thank you enough for exposing yourself, and I firmly hope that some old forum users have moved over to this. Nothing to say, dear Frank: flexibility lies precisely in understanding when a project is simply better and frequented by serious and competent people. That is exactly the purpose of the union, making our small cultural heritage available to others. The state of mind is different, it's true.... A breath of fresh air!! I also respond to Shark; it's true that the link starts from the top point, but I hope that other composers of the period can also be added to the page, so that the list of these can be seen immediately. However, if you think it is better to start from the next one, I can change the link right away with little effort.
See you soon and thanks to everyone for the comments. You are friends.
Great Armando, I'm only reading this now! What wonderful news!
Regarding the link, I think it is more professional to provide a general overview of all the topics so that those who enter can also take an interest in other arguments and discover new things. It seems like a more productive approach to me, but it's up to you!
Personally, I preferred the direct link to the section on Beethoven.

I agree, in the sense that it is more logical ... otherwise a dedicated section wouldn't make sense. Besides, it is a group that settles into this large and splendid structure; it's better not to distort it.
That is exactly why, Armando, I had pointed it out. Anyway, they are good words; by now I move easily through the forum
Many thanks to everyone for your thoughts! Since we are not dogmatic, as you have seen, but very flexible, we will not hesitate to return to the old link! I also understand Simone's point of view, who would prefer a link like the current one, which could give visibility to all discussions. We shall see!
It's nice to think of a discussion where everyone is right! (I'll even throw in a smiley face) AH! Hi Ismaele! So good to see you here among friends!!!
No friends, do as you wish, it's not a problem for me; if it's more convenient for you, feel free to go back to the direct link to the section on Beethoven... This is your business and you can manage it yourselves. In fact, it would be appropriate to make Armando a moderator of this section... What do you say, Armando?
If I may say my piece, I fully agree with Shark and Ismaele because someone coming from the LvB site who wants to access the forum expects discussions (precisely) about Beethoven.
Once inside the forum, however, no one forbids them from "browsing" ...
The link has returned to its primal origin. Let's see if this will be its definitive location. In any case, it is always a pleasure to work on it. As for being a moderator, I have no problem at all; in fact, it is a pleasure to be able to help. (I am nonetheless subject to the judgment of others: these are areas where one can proceed side by side without any problem) (Mmmmmhhhh, however, 'moderatore' is also a piano pedal.... in that case I would have some problems....). Dear Simone, here I am at your disposal. Let's just say that this way I could be part of...... your cabinet, dear mayor!
