A week ago I purchased a Yamaha Clavinova clp 470 and I wanted to ask if anyone knows of any programs or software to install to get other types of sounds; not that I don't like the ones included, on the contrary, in my opinion they are very beautiful, but to have more sounds, perhaps those from a Kawai or Roland etc..
I read about it somewhere online if I remember correctly, but I am not sure because I can't find it anymore..
Does anyone know if something like this could be done??

I wouldn't know what to tell you, but maybe The Simon, Foster, or some other expert could answer you. Also because I see that your post has been sitting here stagnant for a few days.
But to have more sounds, maybe those of a Kawai or Roland etc..
do you mean using sound libraries?

Yes more or less, because I can't find the site where I read in a discussion that via USB one could integrate other types of downloaded sounds from wherever; that's why I was asking if any of you, perhaps experts in Yamaha digitals, knew if something like that could be done..

Anyway, aside from this, I would like to give a small review of this CLP 470 even if the discussion is not appropriate..
I should preface that I am a beginner and have been playing the piano for 3 weeks, I have had 5 lessons in total so far, I practice about 3/4 hours a day for now, and when I go to my teacher's house to practice on a Yamaha baby grand after a week of playing on my CLP 470, I must admit that the difference is really small..
I feel my teacher's baby grand a bit harder than the CLP 470, but only slightly more; you can also feel the double escapement step a little bit, but it's almost imperceptible when I play... let's just say that on the Yamaha baby grand I feel the mechanics more when I press the keys, more realistic compared to the "fake mechanics" of the CLP 470, but honestly I expected worse and instead I was stunned by the incredible resemblance it has to an acoustic grand piano... keeping in mind also that there is a massive price difference between a digital grand or baby grand piano like a Clavinova CLP 470!!
The reviews I was reading about it actually spoke very highly of it and I too can confirm the truthfulness of the performance of this digital piano!!
