Hello everyone!

Last Saturday I spent the morning in the company of an excellent specimen of a 1992 Yamaha G1, cared for by the artisan Maestro Griffa of Milan.

The piano was to my absolute liking. I found it extremely versatile and with a truly very pleasant sound for being 161cm in length. The action has been masterfully tuned. The differences with a Yamaha C1 can be perceived but are limited. Here I truly believe the credit belongs to the Griffa firm.

Below I report a first preliminary test on this piano. I intend to add some other videos recorded with this little piano in the coming days.

it's Embraceable You by George Gershwin. A must for light music of every era.

As for the differences, we are talking about subsequent models: G1 decommissioned in '94, C1 launched in '94.

Therefore, more modern construction solutions, mechanics, and more accurate technical manufacturing.

Now, for example, the CX series has been launched. C1X, C2X, C3x, etc., etc...

Some of the top experts in the sector believe that the most beautiful pianos on the market NOW are Yamahas (with particular reference to the CFX).
