Good evening guys, my tuner "passed on" to me a proposal from a guy selling a 10-year-old Yamaha J series 1/4 grand piano (the year of manufacture is 2004, but he purchased it in 2010) that has been used very little for 5000 euros; with any potential refurbishment costs, the price could rise to a maximum of 6000 euros.
In your opinion (assuming the piano is in excellent condition), is this a good price range or is it not worth it? For a pianist at an eighth-year/diploma level, is this appropriate or is it better to look for something else?
