i have just joined this Forum to ask you experts for an opinion regarding the Yamaha P95 Digital Piano:
first of all, I would like to know if they still sell it; I live in Milan, because if I'm not mistaken it is from a few years ago and I had read somewhere that it was difficult to find.
If it can still be found around, I would like to know your opinions about it; I am just a beginner enthusiast with little financial availability, and the features of this Piano had convinced me quite a bit, but I don't know if it is still available or if they no longer sell it.
If instead it is now outdated, which Digital Piano has replaced it? For example, the P85 was replaced by this one (which, from what I have read, the only difference was the addition of an organ tone) and the P95, on the other hand, by which Piano would it have been replaced? If that is indeed the case!
My limit is around 500 Euros unfortunately, but as I already said, I am just a beginner enthusiast, so the features that the P95 had or has would be perfectly fine for me, considering it would be my first one!
The P95 "helped" me prepare for my eighth-year and diploma exams by allowing me to play even during the night hours. It is certainly not the best of digital keyboards, but if I managed to study for my piano diploma on it, then perhaps it's not so bad after all.
They still sell it new. Here is a link, the first one I came across, but there are many others; just do a simple search on Google.
i saw the site you linked me, but if you read carefully in bold below it says that the P95 is out of production, but that 2 more updated models are available, Yamaha P-35 and Yamaha P-105.
At this point a good part of my request has been answered, meaning I found out that the P95 is unfortunately no longer in production (as I suspected) and I was able to discover which are the updated models.
So now I would like to know your opinions on the two aforementioned models, keeping in mind what I wrote in my first message, thank you very much!
PS: I do not have credit cards or anything else and in any case I would prefer to go to a store in person, so, living in Milan, is there anyone among you who can by chance suggest where I might find the two models in question?

I don't think anyone has tried them if there hasn't been a response. Consider, however, that when they release new products while withdrawing others, improvements are applied. I don't know in what context because I never had the chance to try them, but the P95, both for study and as a MIDI master keyboard for DAWs, has been very useful to me
I have tested the P-35 and I own the P105. I also have the P-60.
From Keff for about 500 euros, I purchased the P105 without a stand or furniture (portable version).
I have extremely positive opinions of the P105. The sound is really nice for the price it costs, and a whole new "audio engine"
that allows the bass to be more appreciated. I use it for professional purposes when a real piano simply cannot be had.
The action, I would say, is identical to that of the P-35 and I believe perhaps even that of the P-95.
Instead, it is DIFFERENT from that of the P-60, being more imprecise and gummy.
The sound of the P105 and the P35 unfortunately suffers from the usual Yamaha defect on P keyboards: namely, when the keys are pressed energetically with the sustain pedal, the sound becomes slightly unnatural and metallic. Stuff for purists. But we pure pianists notice it.
What is it like moving from a P105 to a Yamaha C1/G1 piano, for example?

One last thing.
The sound of the P105 keyboard is more pleasant when heard by a spectator sitting in front rather than by the performer. Something I hadn't noticed with the P60.
Well, this thing about the sound (more pleasant at a greater distance from the source) means that we are at the level of an acoustic one
I don't know these digitals, but I can suggest you save on various accessories (stools, covers, etc.) and buy the newly released models; after all, if you don't like it or change your mind, a newly released Yamaha digital sells in an instant!

I believe it is a successor model being from the same P series. In reality, I haven't had the chance to test it. Usually, however, from model to model they always introduce some improvements...
