I am not a musician but I love classical music; yesterday my son, who is almost 4 years old, surprised me. To the notes of Mozart, he took a wooden stick (the wand of a toy tambourine) and moved it rhythmically with shamelessly conductor-like attitudes.

As a parent, what should I do? I know that at his age it is all a game, so I certainly don't want to force anything... but I have asked myself the necessary questions.

What do you think?

It might be a good idea to find a preparatory course (or a children's choir, for example) for kids his age and see if, by approaching music through play, he shows interest. It could all burst like a soap bubble, or he might seriously enjoy it.
