seems the topic languishes could be due to more than one factor.

1) GENERIC FACTOR.

in general, discussions (all of them) come to an end or a suspension until a new member (like you) or someone who wakes up late (like me) intervenes and restarts them.

2) SPECIFIC FACTOR

Given the hot topic, and given the entry into the discussion of two young ladies (or ladies), many of the men present might feel a certain "media exposure" (so to speak) to persevere on such a topic.

3) "I'LL BRING YOU THE PROOF" FACTOR

Perhaps some, for a matter of seriousness, intend to continue the discussion and link new pieces only after the piece in question has yielded concrete results.... The night before
