Goodness, that would be one more reason to come to Milan during the Christmas holidays: the Chagall exhibition and now Beethoven too. Milan, wait for me!!

Fiorella and I will be at the Milan exhibition presumably on January 3rd or 10th (probably the 3rd, if my father-in-law's health conditions allow it). On this occasion, we will meet Luigi and Benedetta Saglietti, author of the book on Beethovenian iconography.
Who knows if we can arrange a meeting to then put on the "events" section of the site...

So Armando, Luca, Luigi, Benedetta, Fiorella... and anyone else who wants to be there, I spoke to my wife about it and we could be in Milan on January 3rd - January 10th is impossible - and if I meet you all, I will be very happy

I will try to be there on the 3rd as well, but the time will be fundamental

As far as I'm concerned, the intention is to be in Milan from January 2nd, so we can see the Chagall exhibition and other things calmly. January 3rd could work in the morning or early afternoon because then I will return home in the evening.

OH FRIENDS !!! . . . . WHAT GREAT NEWS !
i will definitely be there!
i couldn't have expected anything more beautiful to start 2015

as already anticipated by Armando, I too (barring any last-minute unforeseen circumstances) will be present and it will be a pleasure to meet you all.

We hope to manage to find a middle ground; like Daniele, I would also have a few little problems in the evening

But then, my dear friends, we'll find the solution!
the day is certainly the 3rd (no one said "not the 3rd!")
the time is certainly in the morning or early afternoon.
and the place (implied for now) is the comic book exhibition... but any other place is fine (as long as it's not too chaotic)
i think that works well

The early afternoon is not bad at all
Probably AleGozzo will also join

It's perfectly fine with me, especially since we decided to stay on Sunday as well.

Unfortunately,
Yesterday, Fiorella's father passed away.
Sometimes death is not the worst of fates....
I can therefore confirm that Fiorella and I will finally be in Milan on the 3rd, in the late morning. After eating, we will be at the exhibition and would be very happy to meet all our friends.
What a great and beautiful occasion born - so to speak - spontaneously.
Grow out your beards and hair; we will also take some photographs to put on the "events" section of the site: who knows how many are waiting to see what our lovely faces look like! (you can see ours here on the side, heavily "photoshopped")
I am - as always - very curious; in the meantime, I leave you my email (which you already know: fiorellaearmando"at"alice.it
if you contact me, I will also give you my mobile number; we will need it for the rendez-vous.
A hug to everyone, see you on the 3rd, talk to you before then!

place and time, so I can show up too ;-)

I defer to your decisions, I will essentially comply; I am in Milan for tourism, after all. The only thing I ask is that it be a place easily reachable by metro.

Dear Armando
i am sorry for Fiorella, for her father. A warm thought to you both who remember him.
I promise you that on the 3rd I will be sorted with my beard and hair.
Daniele... I have never been to the comic book museum, but I had a look at where it is. It seems to me that it is better reached by surface transport than by metro.
Anyway, those are details. We will talk again

But where exactly is it?
And I read:
FREE ENTRY BY RESERVATION
further subject to availability, at the number .............
Will this also apply to January 3rd, 2015?

the museum, as indicated on the website, is at Viale Campania 12 (at 3 o'clock of the IV ring)
I ring: the canals (underground )
II ring: the bastions (leveled to the ground )
III ring: inner ring road
IV ring: outer ring road
Topographically, Milan is organized like Malebolge
Reservation was mandatory on the 7th to attend the live screening of Fidelio.
For our needs... one of these days I'll try to call or stop by and have them tell me exactly how things stand

Starting from the Duomo, the ATM website suggests:
start from piazza del duomo 1, milano
walk 150 meters
go to the stop Duomo M1 M3
take line 27 (6 Febbraio - Ungheria) for 11 stops 27 every 10 min.
descent at the stop V.le Campania V.le Corsica
walk 200 meters
until destination viale campania 12, milano
What time shall we meet? Would 14:30 work?

2:30 PM works perfectly.
To encourage a more convivial moment to get to know each other, I would suggest (for those who want and can) meeting beforehand around a table, before then being more relaxed in front of a painting or a comic book.
Nothing demanding: just a risotto or a big salad. Something that leaves us feeling light and gives us time to relax and chat.
I already have an inexpensive (but beautiful) place in mind near the Duomo. We could also find something near the exhibition.
What do you say!? Shall we do a headcount for how many would be at the table around 1:00 PM!?
