Dear friends, sorry for the delay. I should have written sooner, but today I was driving a taxi for my mother's sisters; it has been sleeting all day, I went first to La Spezia and then to Savona... I miss Imperia! (the power of the 4x4!)
Frank and I had the project of meeting in Milan using the free admission to Milanese museums as an excuse; obviously we will postpone, but we would like to know if you would enjoy having a "Reunion," perhaps really taking inspiration from the numerous opportunities that Milan offers. For example, Fiorella would like to see the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana (no one can refuse a basket of fruit!!)
What do you say? Maybe a Sunday morning, a visit and then pizza all together!
Let us know and let's try to organize, dear Beethovenians!
I will do everything possible to be there (= I'll be there)
tra l'altro, nonostante sia milanese, non sono mai stato all'Ambrosiana.
Good idea of quick solutions (pizza) for food. If the goal is always to take advantage of the free museum openings (first Sunday of every month), the date should be February 7th. Anyway, I am available on any other date.
As far as we are concerned, things could go more than well except, however, for February 7th itself, because it is the opening day of the symphonic season at the Bologna municipal theater with the Ninth. And you understand well that we cannot miss it,
it's been a while since I've browsed the forum pages, but a "little bird" whispered to me about this topic ;-)
i definitely can't make it on the morning of the 7th and, in general, January will be a busy month. From what I understand, the Ambrosiana will only be free on the 7th, right?
You, naturally, do what you believe is best, but for me it is impossible to be there on February 7th. If we meet on March 6th - the first Sunday of that month - I'll be there, otherwise we will see each other again on other occasions
I am not sure if I will be there on March 6th, the day after I sing in Dido and Aeneas right in Genoa :-) so I might have a rehearsal, but in reality I have nothing scheduled... I leave it to your choices, anyway.
p.s. Daniele, they have always told me that bad news travels fast :-) I have been absent from the forum due to commitments and disaffection with online discussions...

I understand you very well!
Always assuming that I don't want to be an obstacle to your plans, but to be more precise, all the other Sundays in February work fine for me too. I say this with the awareness that, in that case, museum entry is not free.
what I wanted was to redo the count of those interested a bit.
And propose that we detach ourselves from the idea - albeit an intelligent one - that it should be the first Sunday of a month because museums are free.
If we are keen on seeing each other again, it is better to keep more possibilities open.
Well, of course Luca. As I have already written, mine was a pretext to dust off the topic

Between us, the matter of entering the museum at zero cost was just a pretext to dust off the topic... aside from mid-February, any Sunday would be good for me
