As usual, even this year I am proposing the theme for the composition workshop dedicated to the piano piece. The rules are very simple:
- first publication 31/10/2014
- participants: no limitations, anyone who wants to try their hand at it
Other initiatives

I would like to try too, but... I know the piece! It's not easy not to be influenced by it...

The way forward is one's own style... even if the starting material is not ours. Harmonically it is not dense, but its singability can make one a slave... I hope to commit myself to deriving something truly beautiful and musical; knowing your melodic vein, in my opinion, you should feel at home.

For me, it is more challenging when I already know an 'author's interpretation'... then let's just say that I "partially" chose the theme myself (it's only a small part in it...)"

I see it being difficult, not because of the deadline, but for many other reasons; anyway, I'll see if I can do something.

It seems to me that there are at least 4 of us, me, RStrauss, Bianca and Antares... great and plenty.

Let's just say there are still 3 weeks until the minimum "deadline"... eventually, there is plenty of time to improve the audio

@Bianca, at first glance it reminds me of a clearly decontextualized Beethovenian attitude. I need to look at it calmly.

eheh exactly, imagine that the original title was "Ć l'allemande".
The harmonic fabric and the rhythmic setting of the first part are those
in the second part the discourse begins to fray and become less Teutonic, even if a bit of nostalgia returns...
... in the end it is the story of a holiday that ended too soon

I have just finished mine too, I will publish it soon.
@Antares
Shall we talk about the choice of time signature for the piece?
