Let's just say I didn't do it exactly the "Dubois" way, but I wanted to combine useful and delightful by proposing an "exam" style fugue model.

Usually when I write "freely," more interesting things come out

In the meantime, for this time, let's go academic! :D

Sorry if I didn't respond sooner (to your encouragements). I'm giving it a try and let's see how it turns out; worst comes to worst, I'll just send the close passages, as I had already done...

x Gerardo: I never understood why a two-voice fugue is more difficult than one with more voices. Why?

It is more difficult because on one hand you only have 2 parts (the extreme ones) and you cannot "cheat" in the sense that they must always be beautiful by necessity or it would be immediately noticeable; on the other hand, being able to rely only on dyads causes the harmonic drive to weaken. Clearly, the fugue is a contrapuntal composition, but harmony matters nonetheless, and having for example only 2 voices and writing a dominant pedal requires additional effort... just think about deciding on an articulation that is in the spirit of that particular fugue.

but can it be published already? Wasn't it 15/05?

I really don't think it can be published before the deadline (which is the one you remembered), but I was just asking how to share Mp3s and Pdfs in the designated space. And I still haven't understood it, truly...

using the "Use full editor" function

then "Browse..." and I attach mp3 and pdf...

But I don't know if this was what you were asking

Usually we arrive late ... but this time we are early, which is better. I don't know who actually participated, but as for Parte Bianca, Croma and Cristinak, I wouldn't know.

For me, it can be published even now.... let's just say we have always respected the chosen deadline despite the "early birds"... so the space is already prepared .. . if you want to go ahead and work on it, in the meantime I will notify Cristian who had explicitly joined the initiative.

Anyone else thinking of participating?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate; it is a subject that I will develop sooner or later... but right now I am truly swamped. I had started and even have a good CS and some exposition parts.

Too little to present something... I will gladly listen to your works.

Of course Croma, attach the compositions to a post with a brief comment in the topic I created specifically for the initiative

But it was just to ask; I very gladly use the remaining time to turn everything around, adjust, etc. Once in a while without arriving out of breath...! And then, if we respect the timing, it's fairer for everyone and, maybe, even those who were in doubt can manage to participate.

Ok... it seems like a wise thing to do, as usual we respect the agreed date... nothing will be published before approximately May 15th.
