ok if I reduce them tomorrow I shouldn't take very long.... I will probably have to re-add some passages but it can be done

ahah don't worry, I'm a pianist, I know a few tricks for long notes; the hardest part is writing them XD

Bravo Antares! A bit of positivity... the rehearsal is for pf, it's not as if it's possible to fit your choral part into 10 fingers

DiesIrae I have now added the piano arrangement of the chorale... I had to make a couple of voice shifts.... but I forgot the embellishments ahahahhahaah let's just say they are at the performer's discretion

the theme is not whole, I used 2 thematic fragments and on other harmonies I am not able to use those marked for now, I am too much of a beginner

tomorrow evening or at most Wednesday I will publish.

I had a bit of an initial idea (when the theme was published) ...then I went into a creative crisis and whatever I write... I don't like it; so I'll leave it

When there is a sense of crisis, I usually focus on "development"; I start from ideas that I had written down in the past and try to move them forward. It works, and it also works with others' ideas... in fact, it's even better because we step outside of our usual patterns

For you, I see the workshop as an "opportunity"

I listened to RStrauss's one.

You seem at home to me, even if I don't like all the attitudes (around 2' 35'' a little), in general perhaps a bit redundant... although there is often freshness of ideas.

Very beautiful at 3' 15'', I find the RStrauss of the Lied in it.

True Eagle, but in a moment (hopefully) of fatigue... even the motivation goes down the drain

It is also a problem of energy... and when it doesn't work... it doesn't work... development or no development

I am not the most expert of experts, but between beats 3 and 4 there is a bit of a smell of harmonic syncopation ... for the rest, I found it pleasant

Good observation.... I wrote the chord wrong and I didn't even realize ahahahah it was supposed to be a IV6 but I wrote 2 II6 in the end..... I am such a fool XD

It seems to me to be dominated by fifths; a problem of connotation arises in the sense that the harmonic syntax (let's say classical?) does not seem coherent to me with all the proposed parallelisms... some macro things already in the very first measures:

Measure 1: tenor bass fifths, even if taken in contrary motion... the fact that an extreme part is involved convinces me little

between second and third measure: bass and alto... direct fifths

Between third and fourth measure, harmonic syncopation, I confirm ...even though I read that you know it

What were your objectives? I ask this because if it were a free piece... perhaps it is too triadic and calls to mind too much a rigorous style that can only also affect the voice leading.

However, I appreciated that you challenged yourself with the LAB.
