One last observation of "craftsmanship." I find the choreography of the initial gesture very effective, with its left-to-right path from the vibraphone to the cymbals, and then backward from the cymbals to the wood blocks. The sequence vibraphone - boo bams - tom toms - cymbals - vibraphone - boo bams - wood blocks is held together by the driving rhythm and the movement that descends from high to low pitches and then rises again. The interesting aspect is that the initial gesture, repeated three times, creates a kind of super-instrument resulting from the sum of its five components, which are transformed into a single sound source, compact and at the same time very rich in terms of timbre. In my opinion, this aspect is very effective.
