I would aim for Friday, June 6th... Shall we turn it on?

Friday, June 6th works for me too. Musician friends (male and female) from Rome (and surroundings), don't miss it!

By the way, Simone... which area of Rome were you thinking of? Not too much in the heart of the nightlife, please... a quiet place is better!

Can you also confirm the time and place (more or less)?! so I can organize myself properly

In my opinion, we need to divide the opportunities into two macro categories just to start...

A restaurant where there is a piano and we want to play between the appetizer and the pizza...

A classic restaurant where we will limit ourselves to having a nice chat?

Everything is fine with me, even just the big meal and a chat. I just wanted to know if it was in central Rome since I'm coming by train and staying overnight there and wanted to book

I am also waiting for the opinions of others regarding the first point, then we will move on to the second....

Very well, I like both ideas; anyway, the only restaurant with a piano that I know is L'archetto II just above Piazza San Cosimato, Trastevere market (so not in the middle of the nightlife madness but not isolated either). painful notes: parking. salient notes: well connected with tram 8 (Pzza Venezia-Casaletto)

Castelli Romani area, I know two with a piano...

1) Nemi - "Ristorante pizzeria Specchio di Diana": Grand piano, anyone can play it and the last time I went it had also been tuned.

2) Lake Castel Gandolfo - "Ristorante La Funivia": Upright piano, butchered... A quarter tone down and completely out of tune, it feels very far west, don't shoot at the pianist.

Conversely, if we want restaurants that don't have a piano but where you eat very well, then I would opt for Piazza Antonio Meucci in Rome where there is the restaurant "La Nduja 2". A Calabrian restaurant where they have exceptional meat. They also make pizza.

I've said my piece. Now tell me yours.

All alternatives are fine with me; being a guest, I'll let you Romans decide ihihihih. It just needs to be well connected to public transport since I'm coming by train, and possibly in an area where there is some bed and breakfast, otherwise you'll be forced to accompany me in the evening

It doesn't seem like a big problem to accompany you...

The idea of a tuned grand piano teases me...

Even though central Rome would have been more convenient for me, I vote for "Lo Specchio di Diana"; this means I will come by car, and if anyone needs a ride (provided it's not to Monte Mario, because I have to return to Ostia afterwards...), I would be happy to accompany them.

Come on, let's try to "make it happen"!

Guys, I confirm the reservation for "Lo specchio di Diana a Nemi" on Friday, June 6th. Information on how to get there is available on Google; just type in Lo Specchio di Diana (it should also be on Google Maps). I suggest we meet at 8:00 PM in the square in Nemi. I advise you to bring a sweater because it gets quite chilly in Nemi in the evening. I have already warned them that we are a band of pianists and that we want a table in the immediate vicinity of the piano, which we can play at our leisure (but let's also try to eat).

So, 8:00 PM in Nemi square, we'll have an aperitif and then go to dinner.

Ok!

Guys, can you help me with my organization? I'm a disaster XD.

I am getting off at Roma-Tiburtina; from there, I saw that there are buses that go to Nemi. Regarding accommodation, where is it best for me to book? Do you know a place such that the next day I can easily return to Rome?

I would suggest you find a Bed and Breakfast in the Piazza di Cinecittà area. Keep in mind that the "Subaugusta" metro station is located right in Piazza di Cinecittà, with entrances from Viale P. Togliatti and Viale Tito Labieno (by the way, don't confuse it with the "Cinecittà" metro stop, which instead is located along Via Tuscolana, in front of the film studios). In the evening after dinner, I can accompany you there; in the morning, you take the subway and you will be at Termini in 20 minutes.

Ciao
