Hi everyone, today I had some crazy spending and brought home these two volumes: Instrumental Counterpoint in the Era of Bach and 20th Century Harmony.
Now I am asking those who have read/studied them for an opinion on the two... among other things, Zanolini must have been recently republished because my cover is decidedly different... Persichetti, on the other hand, as far as I understand, has gone out of print; I accidentally found a copy in a bookstore and they thought they had sold out hahahah.
Ratatouille, if I didn't see wrong, they were talking about sixteenth-century counterpoint... or did I miss that other thing?! Anyway, I'm about to open a topic on an imitation bass progression that has left me with a huge doubt...
